Hesler-Noble Flying School is a premier flight school located in Laurel, Mississippi. Our Chief Flight Instructor
Ben Lilley has lived in Laurel & been flying airplanes for 20 years. He founded Hesler-Noble Flying School and named it for two great men who once poured their hearts into the Laurel Airport when general aviation was a relatively new thing. When Ben isn't flying jets, he enjoys teaching and mentoring aspiring aviators both young and young at heart.

Written Test Bootcamps
Our FAA Written Exam Bootcamps are intensive, instructor-led weekend courses designed to prepare pilots for the FAA Private Pilot or Instrument Rating knowledge exams. This program is ideal for students who want a focused, efficient path to completing the written exam without months of fragmented self-study.
Each bootcamp runs all day Saturday and Sunday and includes 18 hours of structured ground instruction. We break down complex topics into plain language, focus on how the FAA actually tests the material, and teach proven strategies to confidently approach the exam. You’ll leave the weekend prepared to schedule and pass your FAA written with clarity and confidence.
